Have you ever been to the vet and said, "I don't know whats wrong with him, he's just not himself. He's really low/grumpy/fearful/lonely...." And sometimes theres a physical reason, sometimes not.
Bach Flower Essences and Healing can help and my experience is that animals respond very well to them. Honey and Peanut pictured here often have Healing and Bach flower essences as well as conventional medicine. I find it often speeds up their healing and sometimes prevents a condition from taking hold.
Bach flower essences are administered in much the same way as humans and are safe to use. They can be added to food, water bowls, hay, hooves, paws, treats or like Honey and Peanut, straight from my hand.
Fear and loneliness can be very common with our beloved pets, either from a past trauma or present circumstances. These can present as behavioural problems which can be difficult to 'break'.
For clients with pets who are displaying distressing behaviour, after they have ruled out a physical cause from the vet and have permission to try Bach Flowers, we look at the possible emotional causes .
For example, 'Spot'' had been wandering at night for many months. Prior to this time he had spent the entire night on his owners bed. Instinctively the owner felt there was something wrong emotionally. After delving a little deeper we surmised this had happened after his owners trip to hospital and subsequent bed rest. After just a few days of a bespoke essence, little 'Spot' was settled and sleeping through the night on his owners bed.
